Ray Bazzi

Founder & CEO

Ray Bazzi founded Diriga Services in 2018 after more than a decade of experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, and defense contracting. His career began in systems administration, where he developed a deep understanding of the infrastructure challenges facing growing businesses — particularly those working with federal agencies and defense contractors.

That hands-on experience led Ray to build Diriga Technologies, the company's IT and cybersecurity practice, followed by Diriga Recruiting to address the chronic talent shortage in cleared defense positions. Under his leadership, the Diriga family has grown to three operating companies, with teams across six defense hubs in the United States.

Ray is known for his direct leadership style, his commitment to building companies that do meaningful work, and his belief that the best businesses grow through reputation rather than promotion. He is based in Orlando, FL, and is active in the Central Florida technology and defense contractor community.

Sarah Mitchell

VP of Operations

Sarah Mitchell oversees day-to-day operations across all Diriga companies, ensuring that each business unit runs efficiently while maintaining the standards that define the Diriga brand. She joined the company in 2020 after a career in operations management at two mid-sized defense contractors.

Sarah's background includes process optimization, contract administration, and compliance management — skills that have been instrumental in scaling the Diriga portfolio from a single company to three. She is particularly focused on building operational systems that can grow without losing the personal touch that Diriga's clients and employees value.

She holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

James Carter

Director of Technology

James Carter leads the technology practice at Diriga Technologies, where he oversees managed IT services, cybersecurity operations, and compliance programs. Before joining Diriga, James spent eight years in enterprise IT — first as a network engineer, then as a security architect at a Fortune 500 company.

His transition to the mid-market space was deliberate: James saw that smaller businesses needed enterprise-grade security thinking applied in practical, cost-effective ways. At Diriga Technologies, he has built a cybersecurity practice that delivers real protection without the overhead of traditional enterprise solutions.

James holds CISSP and CISM certifications and is an active contributor to the Central Florida ISSA chapter.

Laura Reyes

Director of Recruiting

Laura Reyes runs Diriga Recruiting, where she manages a team of recruiters specializing in cleared defense and technical positions. Her career in defense recruiting spans over a decade, with experience placing hundreds of cleared professionals in roles ranging from cybersecurity analysts to senior program managers.

Laura's approach to recruiting is built on relationships, not transactions. She invests in understanding both the needs of hiring managers and the career goals of candidates, which is a key factor behind Diriga Recruiting's attrition rate of less than 2%. She leads the company's expansion into the Tampa and D.C. metro markets.

She holds a degree in Human Resources Management and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
